IC of The Bahamas’ Sue Kimball Shines on the World Stage with Historic No. 1 Finish

IC of The Bahamas’ member Sue Kimball, alongside her doubles partner Betty Wachovia, captured the No. 1 spot in Ladies’ Doubles 80+ at an elite international World’s Tournament held in Bol, Croatia in October 2025—putting American super-senior tennis firmly in the spotlight.

Often described as the super-senior equivalent of the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup, the prestigious competition brings together the top U.S. players in the 75+, 80+, and 85+ age divisions to represent their country on the world stage. Sue and Betty rose to the occasion, delivering championship-level play against the very best in their field.

The victory capped off an extraordinary year for Sue, who finished 2025 ranked No. 1 in both singles and doubles in the United States in her age bracket—a rare and remarkable accomplishment.

A huge congratulations to Sue Kimball on an inspiring season and a truly standout performance for IC and team!
